The revered 'Navratna' (Nine Gems) pattern is among the most prestigious Patola compositions, arranged in an exacting geometric diamond matrix across an emerald green and ruby red silk ground. Each facet of the diamond represents celestial protection and abundance. Handwoven on a wooden pit loom with eight months of painstaking tie-dye alignment, finished with pure gold zari borders and hand-twisted silk fringes.
Dry clean only by a luxury silk specialist. Store folded flat, wrapped in unbleached pure muslin cloth away from direct sunlight, moisture and naphthalene. Refold along different creases twice a year to preserve silk fiber integrity.
